Boycott this, boycott that… # Florida
My biggest concern regarding the boycott is that I’m not sure that raza understands how much longevity a boycott needs to have to be effective. The Montgomery Bus boycott, for example, lasted 7 MONTHS. Is “Raza” ready to hold out long enough to make a compelling change?
What’s gonna happen when those truckers that pledged to not take any more loads to Florida start seeing the financial impact on their income and their ability to provide for their families?
Also let’s consider this: The average household wealth of a white EuroAmerican family is within the $187,300 medium. Meaning in these cases they most likely have assets, properties, trust funds, insurance policies, etc. A drastic difference compared to the $14,100 wealth average of black households and the $31,700 average for “Hispanic” households.
Florida based white “patriots” are ready to stand up for “their country”. They are financially prepared to handle bottom line loses and not lose their assets or lifestyle. They know the system and the system knows them. Because it has always worked in their favor.
What do we have to rely on other than ourselves? The system has been used against people of color since inception. Those appointed to represent the interests of the “underserved” only serve themselves. What basket are we putting our eggs in?
The question we have to ask ourselves in supporting the Florida boycott is: Do we have the morale and resources to give this movement enough longevity to lobby in the interest of migrants and get laws approved or are we gonna buckle when $#!t hits the fan?
These are questions I don’t see any representative ask or answer. Because it’s all part of a game. A game we don’t have the rule book for yet we play as pawns.
To create compelling change we need wisdom, understanding and FUNDS! Where is AOC? What’s her plan to deal with the upcoming struggles? Where is Maxine Waters and Nancy Pelosi and all the pandering democrats?
Where’s their plan of support for us?
Because let me tell you something, the opposition is ready to ride out the wave of change. Are we?
