Looking at this video and the comments section I see that many people are displeased with the current state of affairs of the US.
Many “hate” this administration and its representatives, not to mention its policies.
In my life I’ve witnessed the general public opinion shift from blind patriotism and faith in its government to an overall lack of trust for official narratives and representatives.
Nowadays the abuse of power, nepotism, and incompetence among many detrimental attributes of the system are more than obvious.
The People are displeased.
Those who have been keeping up with history, even if skeptical up to now, can now see the truth in what 5% scholars and intellectuals have been saying for generations: American greatness is a façade.
It’s an exclusive COUNTRY club. A corporate organization that relies on peasant and slave labor for the astronomical profits that finance their lavish lifestyle. This is a perspective that is being embraced all over the world. The USA isn’t a symbol of opportunity, health and enterprise in the eyes of the world anymore.
Even with a different party in office next term, the best image makeover the “country” can hope for is to become the bully on the block again. An open bully at that. I don’t think any administration could ever again regain the narrative of “we’re the good guys”.
Will the country ever fix its political image and reclaim a narrative of superiority?
Not without universal healthcare and affordable housing. In my humble opinion. For starters.
